There is exciting news coming out of Amakhosi during this Fifa-break. Keagan ‘Keags’ Buchanan has started with full contact training after going through the final medical assessment with flying colours.

‘Keags’ is relishing the prospects of donning his number 10 Gold & Black jersey, while the Amakhosi faithful are waiting in anticipation for his first appearance in an official match.

Meanwhile, Erick ‘Tower’ Mathoho has started on the training field with rehabilitation following the ankle injury he picked up at the Rio Olympics. It is so far so good for ‘Tower’, but he remains under the watchful eye of the medical team.

As if the Fifa-break is what the doctor ordered, Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala has recovered. ‘Shabba’ is involved in full training and is also participating in practice matches.

The Amakhosi will welcome Platinum Stars at FNB Stadium on 14 September.
