Kaizer Chiefs’ Medical Team has reported that towering midfielder/defender Ivan Bukenya has injured his shoulder. The Ugandan was seen struggling along in the second half during the ill-fated loss to Black Leopards last Saturday. He will be in a sling for this week.

Defender Morgan Gould has a muscle strain, but he will be fit for the upcoming trip to Morocco to face Raja Casablanca in the second leg of the CAF Champions League’s first round.

Midfield kingpin Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala has undergone a tooth extraction and he will also be out for the rest of the week.

Itumeleng Khune, Brilliant Khuzwayo, Mandla Masango and Erick Mathoho are on national team duty in this Fifa-week.

Chiefs are preparing for the return match against Raja Casablanca, which will be held next Sunday, 5 April (kick-off at 21:00, SA’n time).
