Busy schedule continues for Chiefs youngsters

Kaizer Chiefs’ youth teams will be travelling this weekend to face Panorama in the Gauteng Development League clashes in what has been a busy week for the club’s U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 teams after playing last Saturday and Tuesday against Elspark and Kathorus Hyper FC respectively.

Panorama U-13 vs Kaizer Chiefs U-13

The Chiefs U-13 team have made good progress in their last two games, defeating Elspark on Saturday 2-0 before following it up with a 5-1 win on Tuesday against Kathorus Hyper FC. The young Chiefs will be aiming for their third win in a row when they travel to face 9th placed Panorama.

Panorama U-15 vs Kaizer Chiefs U-15

It has been a mixed week for the Chiefs U-15 team; they defeated Elspark on Saturday away from home 3-0 but were unable to repeat that feat as they lost their last game on Heritage Day against Kathorus Hyper FC as they went down 3-1 at home. They will however be looking to bounce back when they travel to face 10th placed Panorama.

Panorama U-17 vs Kaizer Chiefs U-17

The Chiefs U-17 team have been in good form of late winning their last five league games. They defeated Elspark on Saturday and followed it up with a 2-0 win on Tuesday against Kathorus Hyper Academy. With games in hand over league leaders Jomo Cosmos, they are very much in the title hunt and victory over Panorama will help them further cut the arrears on the log leaders. Their hosts this weekend Panorama are in 9th place on the log standings.

Panorama U-19 vs Kaizer Chiefs U-19

The Chiefs U-19 team will be looking to bounce back this weekend after losing their last two league games. The team has undergone a major transformation losing key players to the Chiefs Reserve team. They have made major strides once more in rebuilding and have been unfortunate in their last two matches in which they have demonstrated a good spirited narrowly losing to Elspark and Kathorus Hyper FC.
