Known as “Chincha Guluva” during his playing days, Kaizer made his debut for Orlando Pirates at a tender age of 16 and joined Atlanta Chiefs in 1968 after impressing former West Ham United player, Phil Woosam (a manager at Atlanta Chiefs at that time). Kaizer came back into the country in 1969 to form what has turned to be the biggest sporting brand in the country, Kaizer Chiefs.

There was however no holiday for the Chairman who over the years has been among the first to arrive and the last to leave every day.

The Chairman shares his birthday with his older sister Zodwa who turns 67 today having been born in 1942.
