Naturena, Captain Itumeleng Khune has expressed confidence and excitement to return to work. “It feels good to be back at work again. It took me two weeks of rest to be itching to be back at work. I really missed work. I am glad we are back and I took an opportunity to welcome our teammates back at work. What is pleasing is to see most of us are fit and looking sharp,” said Khune.
The offseason break:
“I travelled a bit as part of my holiday. I travelled to Durban, Ladybrand, Klerksdorp and Lesotho. Along the routes I stopped by some of the communities to meet and greet the youngsters. I engaged a lot with the kids. Most of the kids aspire to reach our level. I detoured to engage and play with little kids everywhere when the opportunities presented itself. I love spending time with the kids as they aspire for greatness,” said the reigning SA Sports Star, Khune.

You are friend with England goalkeeper Joe Hart and your idol Iker Casillas did not enjoy the best of Brazil, what is your take?
“I have been following Brazil with keen interest. Yes, Hart and Casillas have not had joy in Brazil but goalkeepers are a last line of defence and must have protection from the defenders. But, these guys are professionals, they will go back and redeem themselves with fine performances going forward,” said the Chiefs skipper.
