The starting 11 for the much anticipated Carling Black Label Cup were announced last night through SuperSport and SABC sports programmes.
The Soweto Derby pitting Kaizer Chiefs against their archrivals Orlando Pirates will be played in front of a sold out FNB Stadium on Saturday, 27 July 2013, kickoff is at 15:30 (gates open at 12:00)
The format of the Cup sees fans voting for the line-ups of the two South African iconic Clubs. The Cup will see the Champion Coach experiencing a life as part of the Team towards and during the match on Saturday.
The Consumer Coach for Amakhosi, Johannes Letube, was selected via a competition which included going through a stringent selection process and will share a life experience sitting on the bench alongside Head Coach Stuart Baxter on match day.
There will be changes in terms of substitution this time, the fans will vote for the player from the bench to take the field. Fans are advised to pay attention to the announcements before the start of the match when the names and jersey numbers of the players sitting on the bench and SMS numbers will be announced to be able to influence the substitutions.
