“Have a date at FNB to see your Love & Peace boys,” Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune reacts on why supporters should come to see the game against Botswana’s Township Rollers on Valentine’s Day, this coming Saturday evening. “The team will be rocking.”

This CAF Champions League preliminary encounter will be played at the FNB Stadium (kick-off at 19:30).

Other Chiefs players support Khune’s message. “Come celebrate the beginning of our African journey on Valentine’s Day to spread the Love & Peace,” adds Amakhosi striker Bernard Parker, who recently gained much additional African experience at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Midfielder Mandla Masango adds: “Join the team on Valentine’s Day. It’s all about love, peace and happiness.”

Veteran midfielder Josta Dladla has not been included in the Kaizer Chiefs squad for the CAF Champions League. However, Dladla has confirmed that, of course, he will be watching the clash. He stresses: “What better way to celebrate your love for Kaizer Chiefs than to take your boyfriend or girlfriend in your life to experience the African Champions League.”

Saturday’s match will also be the first back to action on home ground in the New Year. The Township Rollers encounter will be an amazing experience to reconnect with the team.

“After having received roses,” Amakhosi Supporters Relationship Manager Tracy Williams enthuses. “How better to reciprocate than taking your man on a unique African experience.”

The tickets for the Township Rollers match are on sale at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide. The cost of the ticket is R40 and R10 for adults and children respectively.
