The build-up to Saturday’s much anticipated Carling Black Label Champion Cup between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates always require proper logistics planning. The match takes places this Saturday, 30 July, at FNB Stadium at 15:30.
Stand tickets were sold out two weeks prior to the highly-anticipated Soweto Derby with limited hospitality packages and Stadium Management Lounge tickets available through all Computicket retail outlets.
Patrons are also encouraged to purchase secure parking ranging between R40 and R330 through the same channels while event day public transportation has also been made available through Metrorail, Top6 Taxis, KTK Shuttles and Rea Vaya to and from the venue.
Strict traffic control measures start from 07:00 in the precinct. The general public (non-spectators) should avoid the Stadium precinct from 10:00 until 19:00. Avoid frustration and don’t miss the commencement of the match – leave yourself enough time to pass through the Stadium access control and search procedures and be seated by 14:00.
The list of entertainment being lined up as part of the day festivities include renowned local artist Professor, top DJs Sphectacula and Naves and the Soweto Dance Crew.
Gates open at 11:00.
