Charges were withdrawn against soccer legend Doctor Khumalo on Wednesday after he paid an admission of guilt fine for failing to submit tax returns in respect of his concern, Doc Khumalo Sports.
The case had been on the role in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court for about eight months and the tax returns were not submitted for the period of 1997 to 2000.
Recently the returns were submitted to the Receiver of Revenue where a clearance certificate was issued for presentation to the tax court prosecutor Lindelani Sigogo.
This was accepted by him and an admission of guilt fine of R300 per count was paid
