Supporters turned out in their numbers at the East Coast Radio section in Sun Coast Casino, Durban to meet some of their favourite Legends. There was a meet and greet including an autograph signing session. The Kaizer Chiefs Legends were represented by Lucas Radebe, Thabo Mooki, Shane MacGregor and Fani Madida, while the Liverpool Legends were represented by Robbie Fowler, John Aldridge, Michael Thomas and Durban born, Bruce Grobbelaar.

The Legends took time off their schedule to meet their supporters on a rainy Friday afternoon. Supporters, both young and old came out in numbers to see their heroes wearing their favourite team’s jerseys and got most of them signed.

Fani Madida was humbled by the event and the support.

“What an experience it was to rub shoulders with our counterparts, the Liverpool Legends. It’s also a humbling experience and was amazed with the turnout that I saw today and the support that we got.,” said Madida.

Kaizer Chiefs Legends will battle it out with Liverpool Legends on Saturday, 16 November at Moses Mabhida Stadium at 14h00.
