The Amakhosi will be looking to continue with the good form the Team has demonstrated during the month of October. In October, Chiefs brushed aside the enthusiastic Polokwane City (5 Oct in Polokwane) by 3-0 to advance to the TKO Last 8. Chiefs proceeded to the semifinals after battling it out with Free State Stars (20 Oct in Qwaqwa) in a game that ended with a penalty shoot outs. Chiefs won that game 4-2 on penalties.

The fixture between Chiefs and Golden Arrows was postponed by the PSL, due to TKO fixtures from the 22 October 2013 to the yet to be confirmed date. The Amakhosi recorded a seventh game, league and cup, without a loss when they played to an entertaining 1-all draw against Orlando Pirates in a Soweto Derby played at FNB Stadium on the 26th of October 2013.

The Amakhosi’s seven game unbeaten run started with 2-0 over Maritzburg United, 0-all draw at Bloemfontein Celtic, 2-1 at home to Platinum Stars and 1-all draw at Orlando Pirates in MTN 8 2nd leg semis.
