Chiefs and Vodacom colours fly all over Polokwane

Polokwane was turned into red and white of Vodacom and gold and black of Kaizer Chiefs colours on Wednesday when the cellular giant Vodacom together with football and lifestyle brand, the Amakhosi activated their properties at the SABC Park. Driving in and around Polokwane one was greeted by the colourful scenes of the supporters proudly wearing their Chiefs and Vodacom regalia. The build up to the 19:30 kick-off between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United taking place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium was palpable in the air.

Even the sweltering heat of Polokwane did not stop John Semenya and his fellow Seshego Supporters Branch members and Lumka Mabotha from Pretoria Central from gracing the event. The Roadshows are a great initiative; they get the supporters closer to the Team. We love to interact with the players and know them up close and personal. The other part that we enjoyed is the fun and games as well as the prize give aways. This time around we have an added value with the free KC Mobile Starter Pack, said Lumka and John in unison.

Mbali Nkosi one of the KC Mobile promoters expressed happiness with the turnout and the interest the supporters showed on the receipt of the free KC Mobile Starter Packs, "The response is going well in Polokwane. We are getting lots of pots and the supporters are happy with the offers that the KC Mobile offers. The exclusive Amakhosi content, the exclusive promotions and the monthly draws have the supporters asking for more of the starter packs,"

The players, Kingston Nkhatha, Lorenzo Gordinho and the Mokopane born Lucky Baloyi accompanied by the Marketing Director Jessica Motaung got the crowd screaming and excited when they arrived and ascended to the stage. Baloyi was overwhelmed by the occasion as it took place a stones throw from his home in Mokopane, "I met my friends today. They all show their support always when we are in Polokwane. This is good as we have a chance to interact with the supporters and the public. They all vowed to fill Peter Mokaba tonight," said Baloyi and his teammates, Lorenzo and Kingston.

The Activation will continue at the Peter Mokaba Stadium from 16:30 on Wednesday. The gates will open at 16:30 and the match will kick-off at 19:30.
