Kaizer Chiefs and their main sponsor Vodacom continued with their Roadshows in Motherwell ahead of the PSL League fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 6 October 2012. The Zonke Spar Complex was hype of activity with the colours of Amakhosi and Vodacom colours visible from far and wide.
The host Motherwell Supporters Branch welcomed Amakhosi delegation comprising of Marketing, Retail and Communications officials. The Branch Chairperson Mzukisi Ndongeni was in high spirit as he greeted the Amakhosi officials. kaizerchiefs.com caught up with Wanda Jack the Branch Organiser from Uitenhage Branch: “This occasion is good to raise awareness and to demonstrate that wherever you go you will find Kaizer Chiefs. It also shows that Chiefs cares about the supporters. I call on the people of Motherwell and surrounding areas to join Chiefs supporters club by gaining their membership with benefits. To see the Chiefs Officials in town is encouraging and is a sign that everyone is welcomed at Chiefs.”
Lorna Magingxa a resident of Motherwell told kaizerchief.com that “I am very happy to see lots of people gathered in Love and Peace spirit which makes me a happy and proud Khosi for Life! Chiefs has brought a new sense of enjoyment in Motherwell even the criminals don’t have activity today because everybody is focused on this Roadshow. My sister is going to buy the tickets for us to be witnesses when Amakhosi take on Celtic at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium tomorrow. I have been a Chiefs supporter since 1997.”
On display and sold at the event are Chiefs authentic merchandise, supporters membership and match tickets, with Vodacom promoting and selling various airtime packages. The crowd is entertained by the MC and DJ is spinning the disk much to the excitement of the crowd. The crowd was engaged in soccer activities and Play Stations. The activities include give aways for the participating individuals in the crowd.
Kaizer Chiefs play Bloemfontein Celtic at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, 6 October at 18:00. Tickets are available at Checkers/Shoprite and Computicket nationwide – R40 for Adults and R10 for Juveniles.
