It’s Telkom Knockout Challenge time and the Amakhosi will be looking at lifting this trophy for the 14th time since the competition was established in 1982.

The competition was previously known as the Datsun Challenge and the JPS Knockout Cup. It then became the Coca-Cola Cup and the Rothmans Cup. The name was changed back to the Coca-Cola Cup in 2001 and, accordingly to their present name when Telkom became the new sponsor in 2006.

It will be the fourth time the two meet this season. Kaizer Chiefs sent Platinum Stars packing in the lucrative MTN8 tournament earlier this season and the Amakhosi reinforced their dominance over Dikwena with a league win.
