Amongst the new staff members to join The Amakhosi when they kicked off their pre-season training on Saturday was Jose Cox, the 24-year-old will be working on the club's medical staff as a Physiotherapist reporting to senior physio David Milner.

Cox, who hails from Johannesburg, obtained his qualifications from the University of the Witwatersrand, is no stranger to the Chiefs set up as Milner explained.

"Jose has worked with us from time to time helping us out in the past, given that he has this experience working with the club it is a good fit for him to join us.

Overall he has good experience and is well qualified in the field, we happy to be able to welcome him as part of the medical team".

Cox will be replacing Martine Humane as one of the Chiefs physiotherapist and is pleased to have been given the opportunity to work with the club on a more permanent basis saying.

"Working with a sports team is a different challenge, having worked with Chiefs previously it does help me to adjust easily here.

I am looking forward to the season ahead and helping Dave out in ensuring that we have a fit team."
