Ernst Middendorp has also taken the unusual step of relegating David Obua to the bench for Saturday night's game. Joining Obua in the reserve ranks is fellow midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha who has been replaced by Derrick Spencer. The goalkeeping merry-go-round continues as Emile Baron who stood between the sticks when Chiefs beat City Pillars in last 16, is replaced once again by Rowen Fernandez, who was in goal when Chiefs knocked out the defending Champions of the ABSA Cup SuperSport United in the round of 32.
Chiefs will now be looking to become the second team into the ABSA Cup semifinals joining Classic who earlier on Saturday upset the apple cart with a surprise victory over Santos.
