The Amakhosi boss along with a number of delegates from the South African Football Association and the Local organizing Committee for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, have travelled to Switzerland for what is described as the most important two days for the game of football where a number of the leading role players of the world game will be there to discuss various issues affecting the future growth and development of the most popular sport on the planet.
The Chiefs chairman will have the opportunity to witness a number of votes taking place in Zurich over the next couple of days, which will signal numerous changes to the FIFA Statutes the installation of the vice-presidents and members of the Executive Committee, plus the application of membership from Montenegro to join the FIFA family, as well as the most important of them all being the election of the FIFA President. The Chiefs Chairman’s busy week in Zurich will culminate on Friday when he attends the inauguration of FIFA’S new hilltop home with sweeping views of the city of Zurich.
With a jam packed schedule over the next couple of days The Amakhosi Chairman is expected back in the country over the weekend, where he will get some much needed rest as he gets back to the task of preparing The Amakhosi for the 2007-2008 season.
