Kaizer Chiefs will host Chippa United in the finale of the 2015/16 Absa Premiership fixtures on Saturday, 21 May 2016. The Amakhosi are gunning to finish third on the league table. The fixture has all the ingredients to make it an enticing and not to be missed affair with the Chilli Boys fighting to finish in the top eight.
Chiefs and Chippa played to an exciting goalless draw in the first round of this fixture played in front of a capacity filled Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on 9 August 2015.
Amakhosi currently occupy fourth spot with 46 points, while Chippa have accumulated 42 points to earn their sixth spot on the log going into Saturday’s encounter. When Chiefs win and Platinum Stars lose or draw against Mamelodi Sundowns, the Glamour Boys will finish in third place and qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.
Chippa are contesting for a top eight finish with Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows and SuperSport United.
The match is billed for the iconic FNB Stadium and all the league matches will kick-off concurrently at 15:00 on Saturday.
