Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral is still on leave and will not be training or coaching the team until further notice, club PRO Putco Mafani announced on Tuesday.

Speaking shortly before the team's departure to Rustenburg for their league match against Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday, Mafani said Ertugral was yet to meet club chairman Kaizer Motaung and until then, the status quo would remain.

"The coach is still on vacation until further notice," said Mafani. "He is off indefinitely until he meets the chairman. The chairman has a tight schedule between the office and the PSL."

Ertugral was ordered by management to take time off on November 13 following a spate of poor results coupled with pressure from the supporters and the media.

He is not training the team and was not on the bench when Amakhosi beat Hellenic 1-0 in a leaguer match and Ajax Cape Town in the Coca-Cola Cup semifinals.

"The people who are mandated to train and coach are assistant coaches Doctor Khumalo and Ace Khuse," said Mafani. "The two will be in charge until further notice."
