The signing of Ntuka is a further move to strengthen the side’s chances in Absa Premiership this season.
“We reached an agreement with Chelsea over the services of the player. He will no doubt add much needed steel at the back for the team on what is a gruelling Absa Premiership. He brings a lot of experience to the side having played for Chelsea reserve side before being loaned out to Westerlo in Belgium where he played most of his football,” said visibly delighted Bobby Motaung.
“I would like to take this opportunity and welcome Jeffrey Ntuka to the Club. We are all delighted that negotiations between all the parties have been finalised. The move is going to benefit both the Club and the player who is without a doubt a great talent for the country,” said Bobby.
Jeffrey Ntuka talking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday afternoon said he was delighted to have joined one of the biggest football brands in South Africa, “Kaizer Chiefs is my new home now and I do not miss Europe,” he said.
“I am delighted to have joined the Club. I want to thank Mr. Kaizer Motaung and everyone who made it possible for me to be here. I am happy to be back home and happier with the prospect of playing for such a big Club.
"I have not played for almost a year and the Club still showed faith in my ability as a player. I will do much of my talking on the field,” he added with a smile.
