The Amakhosi now move to Durban hoping to continue shining as they did on Wednesday evening in Rustenburg, when they defeated Free State Stars 3-0 and were denied a forth when the referee had said that he had already called the game when Chiefs got the ball beyond the line in the 94th minute against Stars.
Next up the S continues to dominate as a week apart for Chiefs is meetings with Moroka Swallows on the 7th November at the Absa Stadium in Durban, one week later Chiefs will host defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns at the same venue. The date for the Sundowns game is on the 14th November, both the Swallows and Sundowns fixtures are mid week games, with evening time kick off’s.
Box Office Bonanza
For Chiefs fans it is going to be a November to remember with a host of mouth watering ties in league and cup competition for the Amakhosi fans are bound to be kept those in Gold and Black on the edge of their seats, demand for tickets for Chiefs next four games is bound to be high.
First up Chiefs will be playing Moroka Swallows in a league game Wednesday evening in Durban kick off for that game and the next league game on the 14th November when Chiefs take on Sundowns, also scheduled to be played in Durban will be at 19h30. Tickets for those games and Chiefs Telkom Knock Out Cup Semi – Final, to be played at the Independence Stadium in Mmabatho on November 10 at 15h30 are currently on sale at all Computicket outlets as well as Checkers and Shoprite Stores through out the country.
Mohatle appeal
Chiefs communications manager Thebe Mohatle has called on Chiefs fans to get their tickets for the games early, as none will be available on the day of the match Mohatle said. “The games that we have lined up for November are high billed games, we are expecting large crowds at the Swallows, Celtic and Sundowns matches and as a result appeal to fans in order to avoid being disappointed they should purchase their tickets in advance for these games”.
Of Chiefs clash with their arch rivals Orlando Pirates on the 24th November Mohatle said, “with regards to the Pirates game as we are not the home team we will wait for Pirates to inform us once tickets go on sale, as soon as we are given such information we will turn it over to our fans”.
