The Kaizer Chiefs Development Team cruised to a 7 – 0 victory over FC Palmeros in the SAB League SAFA Johannesburg region fixture, played on Saturday, 25th January 2014. The Amakhosi Development Team was in a rampant mood when they demolished Palmeros in their own backyard at the Cecil Payne Stadium, in Maraisburg.



Estefan Nicholas Mynhardt was the chief destroyer with a hat-trick scored in the 46th, 47th and 74th minutes of the game. Khotso Malope opened the flood gates in the 22nd minute with Itumeleng Moshobane and Mpho Khumalo scoring in the 56th and 85th minutes respectively.



Debutant, speedy and lanky winger Nkululeko Buthelezi completed the damage in the 87th minute of the game. Buthelezi, playing his first game of the SAB League demonstrated flashes of brilliance with his silky skills and speed, clearly raising eyebrows as one to watch in the future.



Kaizer Chiefs Development Team will look at consolidating their position in the top half of the league when they host Dlamini XI Experience in their next game. The SAB League encounter will be played on Saturday, 1 February 2014, at the Nike Centre, in Pimville Soweto. Kickoff is at 15:00.
