Kaizer Chiefs will face Royal Eagles in the last 32 (L32) of the 2020 edition of Nedbank Cup. The launch and draw took place on Thursday evening at the Nedbank headquarters in Sandton.
The Durban based Eagles qualified to the last 32 from the GladAfrica Championship.
Chiefs who were drawn as hosts, went into unseeded draw as 2019 finalists and still record holders with 13 trophies in the competition.
“We can’t choose opponents,” said George Maluleka after the draw. We came here open to any draw results. All the 32 teams qualified to be in the draw. We will respect Eagles and do our best to progress to the next round.”
The PSL competitions committee will confirm the logistics in due course. According to the league calendar, the L32 round is scheduled to take place on 5-11 February.
