Kaizer Chiefs were this Monday evening drawn to play SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal.
"We don't have a choice at this stage," coach Steve Komphela responded to the draw. "It is going to be a tough match. Stuart Baxter has the Chiefs DNA. He coached Chiefs and most of his players played for Chiefs as well."
Matsatsantsa are the reigning Nedbank Cup champions, while the last time Amakhosi won the cup was under Stuart Baxter in 2013, beating SuperSport United 1-0 in the final.
The Nedbank Cup quarterfinal fixture between the two sides will be a Chiefs home match. The PSL competition committee will decide and announce the logistics in due course.
