Coach Shakes Mashaba has named Kaizer Chiefs’ duo of goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and defender Erick Mathoho in Bafana Bafana’s starting line-up against Honduras at the Olympico Metropolitan Stadium on Tuesday, 13 October 2015 (Wednesday, at 02:00 South African time).
Another Chiefs player in the squad, midfield wizard George Lebese, will begin on the bench.
Bafana Bafana 11 v Honduras: Itumeleng Khune (capt), Anele Ngcongca, Rivaldo Coetzee, Erick Mathoho, Mosa Lebusa, Andile Jali, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Mandla Masango, Thulani Serero, Jabulani Shongwe, Ayanda Patosi.
Subs: Jackson Mabokgwane, Ronwen Williams, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Clayton Daniels, Muzi Mashaba, Dean Furman, George Lebese, Bongani Zungu, Sibusiso Vilakazi.
