Kaizer Chiefs Reserves will play against Bloemfontein Celtic in the Asidlali Festival taking place on Sunday, 22 January, at Dr Molemela Stadium, Bloemfontein.

Fresh from a two-all drawn match against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, Chiefs’ reserve side can’t afford to drop points at this stage of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) against second placed Celtic. Kick-off is at 14:00.

Amakhosi go into this encounter occupying sixth spot on 18 points, seven points adrift of the log leaders after ten matches. It will be interesting to see how coach Arthur Zwane’s team will bounce back after last weekend’s result in the Soweto Derby. Chiefs dominated the match, but allowed Orlando Pirates to equalise at the death, much to the disappointment of the team.

Preceding the Chiefs and Celtic match will be an encounter between Golden Arrows and Free State Stars at 12:00.
