Chiefs pleaded guilty and were fined R500 000 wholly suspended for 12 months and were also ordered to pay the costs of the sitting amounting to R21 000.

Furthermore, the Chairman of Kaizer Chiefs, has been ordered to address a press conference together with the PSL Prosecutor wherein he denounces spectator misbehavior and this press conference will be arranged by the PSL within the next 14 days.

The League’s security personnel together with the Kaizer Chiefs security personnel are closing in on the perpetrators and are close to identifying the culprits who will then be handed over to the law enforcement agencies to be dealt with in accordance with the newly promulgated Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act.
