Erick Mathoho looked ahead of Saturday's encounter against Cape Town City in the Mpumalanga Cultural Experience Cup.
"We are in the final stretch of preseason," said Erick Mathoho after completing prematch training at Mbombela Stadium on Friday afternoon. "We have been working hard in the past weeks. We will use this game as a final test run before the start of the league next week."
The friendly match is scheduled at Mbombela Stadium. Kickoff is at 15:00.
"Our matches against City are always tough," said the soft spoken defender. "We will give it our all to win the match. The mood in the camp is high and we are all looking forward to the match. We look forward to a good match and hope our supporters will enjoy the match."
Dumsani Zuma, Khotso Malope and George Maluleka will not take part in the match due to an assortment of injuries.
Assistant coach Patrick Mabedi will shout instructions from the bench while head coach Giovanni Solinas is still waiting for his work permit.
