Kaizer Chiefs prepare to get on the road again after an unsuccessful trip to Stellenbosch on the weekend when they journey to another coastal city of Durban for a game against Lamontville Golden Arrows on Wednesday.

This is a rescheduled meeting as the game was supposed to have been played on 8 December 2021. The match did not take place due to a massive Covid-19 outbreak at Chiefs.

Both Chiefs and Arrows recently parted ways with their head coaches and both have objectives of climbing up the PSL log with Arrows chasing a top 8 finish and Amakhosi wanting to secure a CAF competition qualification spot.

Arrows are 9th on the log with 32 points after 25 matches, while Amakhosi are in 4th position with 39 points in the bag after 24 matches.

Amakhosi supporters in KwaZulu-Natal and those who are traveling will be able to get behind the team in numbers as the tickets for the DStv Premiership match are now available through TicketPro, starting at R40 per ticket. Tickets can be obtained from Spar Supermarkets in Umlazi, Sea point, North beach, KwaMashu, Gateway, Glenwood, Pinetown, Chatsworth and Westville.

Only 4 500 tickets will be sold because the regulations dictate that stadia should operate at 50% capacity.

The match between Abafana Bes’thende and the Glamour Boys kicks off at 15:00 on Freedom Day at the 12 000-seater Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, North of Durban.
