Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Maritzburg United at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 24 September. The supporters will look at this fixture to be part of their Heritage Day celebrations. More so, sparks always fly when Chiefs and United lock horns.

The match has all the ingredients to make the supporters to rush to the nearest Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets to purchase their tickets for R40 only.

There will also be a battle of two coaches, as Amakhosi’s Steve Komphela has a history with the Team of Choice while his counterpart Ernst Middendorp has a history with the Glamour Boys.

Last season, the fixtures between the two teams produced fireworks in all competitions. Looking at the league matches, the Amakhosi triumphed at home with a hard fought 3-2 win. Willard Katsande, Camaldine Abraw and Lorenzo Gordinho were on the scoresheet in that tussle. And away at Harry Gwala, Chiefs returned with a point after a late minute equaliser, the match finishing one-all.

Kick-off at the iconic FNB Stadium on Saturday is at 18:00.
