Kaizer Chiefs players are looking forward to this encounter to advance the team up the PSL log before the long break in the season to accommodate the African Cup of Nations in January and February 2008.
One player in particular who will be hard to contain is midfielder David Mathebula who is a Limpopo native. He is quoted in yesterday’s website article saying that something makes him “play like a monster against [Leopards]”. See “Limpopo Rivalry to Lift Mathebula” at www.kaizerchiefs.com.
In addition to captivating football on the field, Kaizer Chiefs will be signing new members off the field. Supporters are encouraged to arrive at Loftus Stadium early in their numbers to sign up for the New Amakhosi Supporters Club membership cards, which were launched on 9 December at the Amakhosi Supporters Club Centre, Dlamini Sports Complex, Soweto.
Amakhosi Supporters Club has seized the opportunity to showcase the new membership offering at the stadium, so the Amakhosi Faithful can look forward to reconfirming their status as true members of ‘The Family’. There are five tiers of membership including Kids (R25), Youth (R50), Classic (R100), Silver (R250), and Gold (R550). Supporters can sign up for membership near the North Stand parking area at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium from 14:30 until after the game.
It definitely pays to be an Amakhosi Supporter; lucky card carrying members will be rewarded with Kaizer Chiefs and Black Like Me Hampers at half time. Entertainment at the game will feature the likes of Hip Hop newcomer, Jub Jub and Kwaito group, Alaska.
Come and spend the evening with your favourite team and witness Kaizer Chiefs hunting down the unpredictable Black Leopards. Gates open at 16:00, kick-off at 20:00.
Remember to wear your Gold and Black as you represent the Beautiful Amakhosi, support the accredited Kaizer Chiefs Vendors who will be selling merchandise around the stadium, and to spread Love & Peace this festive season!
Welcome To The Family. Amakhosi 4 Life!
