Kaizer Chiefs came back from a goal down to register an impressive 3-1 victory over struggling Hellenic in a Castle Premier League game at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.



At halftime, the teams were level on one-all.



Chiefs came close to scoring in the first minute when Josias Macamo's freekick from the edge of the box passed the upright.



Hellenic opened with a score in the seventh minute when Gareth Ncaca's freekick from the sidelines was headed home by Ricardo Katza.



Chiefs were applying pressure, and in the eleventh minute Tenashe Nengomasha passed to Macamo, who raced in as Gareth Ormshaw dived at Macamo's feet to save.



In the 19th minute, a cross from the left fell at Warren Budde's feet, and he side-footed high over the bar.



In the 25th muinute, Chiefs were awarded a penalty after Kabamba Musasa was brought down in the penalty box, but Patrick Mabedi's shot was saved by a diving Ormshaw.



However, a minute later, Macamo sent over a high ball that curled into the back of the net to level the score.



In the 62nd minute Musasa's header hit the crossbar.



Chief's took the lead in the 65th minute when John Moshoeu found the back of the net.



In the 71st minute, Ormshaw brought off two point-blank saves.



In the 80th minute, substitute David Radebe ran down the right centre to Musasa as he side-footed the ball into the net, giving Chiefs a victory by three goals to one.
