League defending champions Kaizer Chiefs are in mean mood following their stunning performance over the weekend when the Phefeni Glamour Boys walloped Bloemfontein Celtic 4-1 at the FNB Stadium.

Fresh from a 1-0 win over Golden Arrows, Dynamos visit the Amakhosi slaughter house, FNB stadium this Wednesday, 19th January 2005, 20H00 seeking for revenge after they were also humiliated 4-1 by a rampant Chiefs during their first game of the season infront of the Dynamites home crowd in Giyani.

"This is one game where the history of our past wins against Dynamos will matter very little as you can see they are doing very well at the moment with our development prospect Ntokozo "Koloba" Skhakhane on song.

"One thing for sure it will not be easy, we have to sharpen our grinding teeth more because the Dynamites are rough this time. A win in this game should earn us a good three points that will close the gap tighter at the top of the log and that will be the beginning of greater things to come. Can you imagine Chiefs chasing Pirates neck to neck for the title?" said club Communications Manager, Putco Mafani.

Mafani said his club was happy with the turn out of spectators on Saturday although there was still room for improvement, "We applaude all those who were part of our game as we had pledged 10% of our gate earnings (A Figure of R30 820) to charity, half of that going to the Kwazulu Natal Emergency Relief Fund to assist the victims of the December floods in KZN and another half going to the Red Cross Tsunami Disaster Fund in South Africa".

R20 tickets for adults and R10 for juveniles are already on sale at the Computicket outlets for the Dynamos game as there will be much interest following Amakhosi's superb performance against Celtic and local Dynamos fans will come in their numbers for they also want to see their club make Chiefs pay for the past dominance of the two clubs' clashes. Chiefs will see the return of their first choice right back defender Cyril Nzama who missed out on the Celtic game as he was serving a match suspension because of accumulating three yellow cards.

Kick off will be 8pm and supporters are urged to come in their thousands and catch the summer soccer fever on time.
