Following Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory over the University of Pretoria at the Tuks stadium, Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom will remain in the capital city for the next three days as they build up to the epic clash on Saturday against Absa Premiership log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
“We are excited about the first activation taking place at our fairly new KC Retail Store in Tshwane,” Chiefs’ Marketing Director Jessica Motaung says. “This is a process we are embarking on to serve our supporters by spreading the Brand in and around the country.”
The program of events in Tshwane kicks off on Thursday, 28 April, at Kaizer Chiefs’ Retail Store at the Tramshed Shopping Centre in Pretoria central.
Bongani Ndulula and William Twala will be visiting the store for promotional activations from 1pm on Thursday afternoon.
The store offers a unique Amakhosi experience. It will be running exciting promotions and specials, including last season’s championship winning jersey which now sells for the low price of R299.
On Friday, Kaizer Chiefs’ legendary striker Shane MacGregor will be at the store for a signing session as well as interactions with supporters and shoppers. MacGregor will visit Amakhosi’s Retail Store at Pretoria’s Tramshed Shopping Centre from 1pm until 2:30pm.
The program will be concluded on Saturday when once again two first team players will be at the shop for interactions with supporters from midday, before heading to the Loftus Versfeld stadium for the mouthwatering encounter against the Brazilians.
Apart from our full range of exciting authentic merchandise that will be available to Amakhosi supporters at the store, Kaizer Chiefs Insurance (KCI) agents will be on hand to assist with registering clients and helping secure their futures with our insurance products and services. KC Mobile starter packs will also be available to the supporters and shoppers, who wish to stay connected, purchase airtime and have exclusive content about their favourite Club.
The activations will run throughout the day – on Thursday, Friday and Saturday - with lots of exciting prizes to be given away.
“We are happy that the players will make a turn at the store,” Motaung adds. “The players will be at the store to sign autographs while management will also be there to interact with the customers.”
“The store management always has a surprise in store and will prepare some specials to show appreciation to our supporters. Be there to experience it all,” Chiefs’ Marketing Director concludes.
The KC Retail Store in Tshwane operates between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, while the store is open on Saturday from 9am until 3pm.
The KC Retail Store is located on ground floor at the Tramshed Shopping Centre, which is on the corner of Lilian Ngoyi and Francis Baard.
Amakhosi will face the Brazilians on at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, 30 April (kick-off is at 20:15).
