Chiefs issue apology over punching by Gould

The Club has reviewed the punching incident involving defender Morgan Gould and Bidvest Wits player Getaneh Kebede. The incident happened during the Absa Premiership clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits on Saturday, 9 November 2013.



The Club has decided to institute corrective measures against Morgan Gould and subsequently apologised to Kebede and Bidvest Wits.



The Club has set high standards for the players and expect the players to uphold that at all times. The Club has mechanisms in place to monitor players conduct and views this particular incident in a serious light.



Morgan Gould has apologised to the Club and agreed to cooperate with the internal processes.
