Kaizer Chiefs vs Ajax Cape Town

Runnaway log leaders Kaizer Chiefs are keen to return to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they welcome Ajax Cape Town at the FNB stadium on Wednesday, 4 March. The fixture between the Amakhosi and the Urban Warriors is always mouthwatering.
Amakhosi will enter the tussle as table toppers and will be looking to extend their lead as they face a strong Ajax who are coming from a good win in their last league fixture. Looking at the log, Chiefs have lost only once after twenty matches in the league. Amakhosi have amassed 47 points, ten points ahead of defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
“We are looking forward to each and every match we have to play,” comments an inspired Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter. “Ajax are a tough side. They have in their team good and enthusiastic players. We have to prepare well against them.”
“It is three points at stake, the equal number of points we will be playing for in the Derby. We are coming from a CAF Champions League trip, different conditions. We will have to recoup the players quickly back to our usual conditions.”
“The next game is the most important game for us. Our main focus is on the Ajax match this Wednesday,” concludes Baxter.
Ajax occupy fourth on the log with twenty eight points to show in twenty games. Chiefs beat the Urban Warriors away from home early in this season, the 1-0 score came courtesy of Tefu Mashamaite’ second half header.
To ensure that we win the league title buy tickets for the match at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide. The cost per ticket is R40 and R10 for adults and children respectively.
