The Kaizer Chiefs legends will face a KZN XI in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal province, on Youth Day, Tuesday, 16 June, at 13:30 (at the Amajuba College Stadium).

The game will be part of the Siyabonga Nkosi Youth Festival, which takes place from 6 to 17 June.

Nkosi played for Kaizer Chiefs for the last three seasons, winning four trophies. However, at the end of the record-breaking 2014/2015 season, the Club and the attacking midfielder decided to part ways.

A team full of legends will participate in the game. Players who will participate are, amongst others, Brian Baloyi, Derrick Spencer, Cyril Nzama, Gardner Seale, Ntsie Maphike, Thabo Mooki, Doctor Khumalo, Arthur Zwane, Frank Makua, Abel Shongwe and Wellington Manyathi and Stanton Fredericks.

The KZN XI will be led by Amakhosi’s former striker Fani Madida.

The legends will give on Tuesday morning a coaching clinic, which starts at 09:00.

Chiefs’ legends beat an Nkandla XI 3-1 last Saturday. The goals were scored by Abel Shongwe, Arthur Zwane and Doctor Khumalo.
