Coach Arthur Zwane was left unhappy after his charges let slip of a chance to win their fourth game in a row when Kaizer Chiefs Reserves played to a goalless draw against Black Leopard Reserves. Chiefs Reserves on the day could not get off the blocks with some attributing the sluggishness to heat conditions at the Dobsonville Stadium.

Chiefs Reserves dictated terms from the onset, but their usual penetration play was not effective against a defensive Leopards Reserves, who were clearly comfortable to clinch a draw. The ever green Keletso Sifama and dribbling wizard Lebohang Lesako tried on several occasions to break the deadlock but lady luck was not on their side considering that their attempts on goal were unsuccessful.

Coach Zwane introduced fresh legs with Rahim Milanzi, Kamohelo Hoala and Samkelo Zwane coming on to go for full points. The changes didn’t produce the desired fruits much to the disappointment of Zwane. It was a day to forget for Chiefs Reserves whereby even the referee’s added time of 4 minutes was not enough to score the winner.

The draw sees Chiefs Reserves with 8 matches played dropping one notch down to 7th position on the Multichoice Diski Challenge log standings with 13 points to their name.
