Kaizer Chiefs have been forced to make a change in the line-up following striker, Samir Nurković’s head injury suffered during Tuesday’s game against AmaZulu. The Serbian, who started all the six matches this season will not face Baroka FC this evening as he is still nursing the injury.

He will be replaced by Lazalous Kambole in the starting XI. The Zambian did not take part in Tuesday match against AmaZulu.

Apart from the Nurković, coach Ernest Middendorp has decided to go with the same team that started the last game in Durban.

Captain Itumeleng Khune will be in goal for his second game of the year (and season) after his long spell on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury.

Khune will work with the defensive wall of Yagan Sasman, Mulomowandawu Mathoho, Daniel Cardoso and Reeve Frosler.

In the midfield, Amakhosi will have George Maluleka, Kearyn Baccus and Bernard Parker.

The attack will see Kambole joined by Lebogang Manyama and one of the goal scorers from Tuesday’s game Khama Billiat.

This evening’s Absa Premiership match between Amakhosi and Baroka will take place at the fortress FNB Stadium. Kick-off is at 18:00.

The officiating will be led by referee Victor Gomes. His assistants are Luvuyo Pupuma and Athuxolo Madela - with Akhona Makalima as the 4th official.
