Kaizer Chiefs’ next assignment will be an Absa Premiership fixture on the road on Tuesday, 12 April, against Mpumalanga Black Aces, which is coached by former Amakhosi mentor Muhsin Ertugral. The league is currently on a Fifa break with national teams taking centre stage worldwide. The international games are held between 21 March and 1 April.
Amakhosi went into this league break at the backdrop of an uncharacteristic form. The squad will be looking to use this period to sharpen up before the encounter against Aces.
Chiefs and AmaZayoni occupy respectively fourth and fifth position on the league log with two points separating the two. Chiefs have 39 points, while Aces are on 37 with both teams having played 23 matches.
The game will be played on Tuesday, 12 April, at Nelspruit’s Mbombela Stadium (kick-off is at 19:30).
Ticketing information will follow in due course.
