The Club has announced that the match as advertised claiming that Kaizer Chiefs will be playing against Real Blue Crane FC is false.

“We have no knowledge of a game scheduled in Mpumalanga on Saturday,” confirms Vina Maphosa, the Club’s Communications Manager. “We are not participating in the said match. We warn the public to ignore the advert.”

According to the publicity poster the match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 25th July at Kamhlushwa Stadium.

“Our investigations revealed that we had earlier agreed to play in a closed doors practice match for our Development Team,” continues Maphosa.

“We were surprised when the organisers went on to advertise the match without our consent,” concludes Maphosa.
