While the team is on recess the Marketing Department is out connecting with supporters in the Northern Cape Province. The Club continues with its campaign to connect with its passionate supporters around the country. The Amakhosi Supporters Club and KC Retail Teams will form part of the entourage to ensure a full Kaizer Chiefs offering.

The Club will embark on many activities including CSI and Branch Executives Meeting. The Kaizer Chiefs Warrenton Branch in partnership with the Department of Social Services and Itireleng Association for People with Disabilities will be raising awareness on disability issues. The Branch has been to schools and churches around Warrenton and Jan Kemp to raise awareness regarding disability.

The Marketing Director, Ms. Jessica Motaung, will accompany the Amakhosi family. The Club will be giving away goodies at the roadshows, selling merchandise and membership. Jessica Motaung encourages supporters to come in their numbers to support the campaign to raise awareness on disability issues and also come and support the roadshows in Kimberly on the 17th June from 13h00-16h00 in the CBD next to Shoprite/Checkers, Warrenton CBD on the 19th June 2011 from 10h00-12h30 and finish off with a CSI programme in Warrenton at Ikhutseng Community Hall at 12h00. There will also be a Northern Cape Branch Executives meeting on the 18th at 14h00 (Southern Sun Hotel).

Jessica Motaung had this to say about the Club’s visit: “We have not been in the Northern Cape for a while and this is a good opportunity to engage with our supporters and also to give back through the CSI projects that are taking place. As a socially responsible organization we would like to raise awareness on disability issues. Amakhosi family cares about all members of the community and believe they deserve to be treated with love & respect!”
