"I am happy and I can't explain how I feel," comments midfield dynamo, Hendrick Ekstein following the Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United stalemate in a Multichoice Diski Challenge match played at the Nike Centre in Soweto on Wednesday.

Lerato Manzini silenced the packed stadium with a header in the opening minutes to give SuperSport United an early lead. Their celebrations were short lived when Man of the Match Hendrick Ekstein responded with a close range scorcher.

Ekstein, recently promoted from the Development to the first team, beat Roscoe Pietersen with a burst of pace before blasting the ball past Dumisani Msibi.

"It is a matter of picking the spot, remaining composed and aiming the shot. I was just composed," explains Ekstein after receiving his Man of the Match trophy.

On his experience since his promotion to the first team, "I take every training session serious. I have improved in a lot of areas since earning promotion. I am happy to earn the Man of the Match award"

Chiefs remain unbeaten with one win and a draw in their two fixtures played in the round robin stage of the Reserve League.

Watching the game from the stands were the Chiefs first team and the Technical Team led by Head Coach Stuart Baxter.
