Absa Premiership League
Kaizer Chiefs v Maritzburg United
Saturday, 27 September 2014
Kickoff 20:15
The Amakhosi will remember the 11th of February 2013, when they were on the roll looking for their 10th consecutive win when they visited Harry Gwala Stadium. It wasn't meant to be, Maritzburg United brought their A-game to the party by holding the Amakhosi to a 2-all draw.
This time, the game is taking place at the Amakhosi stronghold and fortress. Buoyant by the MTN 8 Cup win and 10 wins on the trot in all competitions this season, the greatly inspired Amakhosi will be looking at another win this Saturday when they play host to the unpredictable Steve Khompela led Maritzburg United.
"We are looking at another great support at home, FNB Stadium. The tickets are on sale at Computicket and Checkers/Shoprite at R40 for adults and R10 for juveniles. We will be welcoming the team from a lucrative trip in Durban," said Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa.
The gates will open at 17:00 and as usual the Supporters Club will bring KC Retail and KC Mobile services at the Gate K, turnstile 18 of the stadium.
The match will be a precursor to the TKO Last 16 match between the two scheduled to take place in the following weekend.
