Kaizer Chiefs received a boost just before kickoff of the Absa Premiership encounter against Golden Arrows when they were presented with the Q3 of Q-Innovation prize of 1, 5 million by PSL Acting CEO, Cambridge Mokonyane.
The Glamour Boys who are winning the quarterly prize for the second time this season accumulated 18 points in 8 games during the third quarter.
Football Manager, Bobby Motaung who received the cheque on behalf of the Club congratulated the entire team.
"Congratulations are in order to the Coach, Stuart Baxter for a sterling job and the players for going out there to do the job on the field of play.
"The supporters have stuck with us through thick and thin this season and we thank them for being a 12th player.
"We also thank The Executive Chairman, Mr Kaizer Motaung, The Board of Directors, Management, Marketing, Communications and Public Relations, all the Departments at the Village and staff for a wonderful teamwork," added Motaung.
