Black Africa (0) 1 Stephanus (3) 1 Nkhatha Kaizer Chiefs
The game started with a slow pace from both sides. Most of the play was concentrated in the middle of the park until the 5th min when Nkhatha' s tame shot at goal was saved by Arnold Subeb.
In the 6th minute Black Africa shot their free kick wide. Masango wasted a corner-kick for Chiefs resulting into a counter attack which nearly resulted in a goal for Black Africa.
Kingston broke the deadlock in the10th min from a well taken Nkosi cross.
Black Africa went in search for an equaliser only to be denied by Pieterse in the 12th and 16th minute.
Chiefs nearly profited from goalie Subeb's error in the 15th minute. Mtsweni followed 3 minutes later with a good run on the right, only for Chiefs to miss with a number of players lined up in the box.
Katsande received a yellow card in the 43rd minute. Halftime score 1 - 0 to Chiefs.
Coach Baxter substituted Lebese and brought in Rusike during halftime.
The second half began with the two sides cautious with not much action in the goal areas for both sides.
Stephanus brought the Windhoek's Independence Stadium alive with a grass cutter beating Pieterse in the 65th minute, to level the score.
The Technical Team now sensing danger brought in Tshabalala for a limping Nkhatha in the 69th minute. With Black Africa still searching for the winner on the night, Chiefs brought in Letsholonyane for Maluleka in the 75th minute.
It was only after the introduction of the duo of 'Shabba' and 'Yeye' that Chiefs stabilized their play. The 3-min referee's optional was not enough to see the winner between the two sides on the night. The 1-all draw was enough to see Kaizer Chiefs through to the next round with a 4-1 aggregate score.
