SuperSort United are currently leading the pack with 40 points while the Amakhosi fifth position with 34 points. Superport United are still licking their wounds following a 2-1 drubbing in Durban on Wednesday against AmaZulu in Durban.
However, Kaizer Chiefs veteran midfielder Arthur “10111” Zwane said he and his teammates are not reading much to the opposition results.
“We have to focus to what we can do,” he warned.
“We should not concern ourselves about what is happening with other teams. We need to continue believing in ourselves.
The league is still open and we stand a chance of winning it. The game against SuperSport United will give us an opportunity to climb the table after our draw last weekend,” said Club vice captain who has won the league twice with the Club in 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 season.
The two teams have met on 36 occasions in the league fixture since 1990. Both teams have won twelve matches apiece and twelve matches have been drawn. Chiefs have managed to outscore SuperSport United scoring a staggering 49 goals to 42.
