PSL Senior Officer Ronnie Schloss handed over the cheque for Kaizer Chiefs winning the fourth quarter of the Q-innovation.
Amakhosi booked 18 points from seven games in the Fourth Quarter (Q4), winning six. Free State Stars came closest to pipping Chiefs from first position, having two points less.
Bidvest Wits came third with 12 points.
This is the second quarter Chiefs won this season, having already won Quarter One (Q1) last year.
The prize money for each quarter is R1,5 million.
Quarter 2 was won by Polokwane City, while Absa premiership runners-up Mamelodi Sundowns won Quarter 3.
