Executive Chairman, Kaizer Motaung has reacted strongly to claims that the Club is 'speaking' to the current Free State Stars Coach, Steve Kompela with the view of taking over the coaching reigns next season.

One of the overzealous papers reported over the weekend that the Executive Chairman had a meeting with the Coach at one of the local 'Chinese restaurants'.

Laughing off the claims, the Kaizer Chiefs supremo told kaizerchiefs.com on Monday afternoon; "Maybe I have a twin who goes to Chinese restaurants.

"There is no truth to the reports that the Club is in talks with Steve Kompela. The reports might be aimed at distracting Steve and Free State Stars. We remain behind the current Technical Team and we are on track for challenging for both the Nedbank Cup and the League."
