Monday League fixture between Jomo Cosmos and Kaizer Chiefs Reserves at Robertsharm Sports Grounds was abandoned due to a storm.

The Glamour Boys took the lead early in the second half through a scorcher from striker, Nicholas Mynhardt.

The abandoned game with only five minutes left on the clock saw defender, Morgan Gould making a long awaited come back in almost five months.

The tough as teak defender replaced injured Lincoln Zvasiya at halftime. Partnering the young Shaun Malinga in the heart of defence, Gould showed glimpses of brilliance by impeccable distribution and marshalling of the backline.

Also in the starting line-up was new signee and goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse who signed for Amakhosi during the current window period.

Referee, Michael Khoza told kaizerchiefs.com that he is going to write and send a report to the League following the abandoned game.
